FESTIVAL UPDATE: THERE HAVE BEEN RUMOURS THAT CAMPING IS ALLOWED THIS YEAR! UNFORTUNATELY, THE TERMS OF OUR LICENCE DO NOT ALLOW OVERNIGHT CAMPING ON THE SITE - ANYONE ATTEMPTING TO DO SO WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE SITE BY SECURITY. SORRY TO SOUND HARSH, BUT IF WE WANT THE FESTIVAL TO RUN IN FUTURE YEARS WE CAN'T JEOPARDISE OUR LICENCE. HOPE YOU HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND, REGARDLESS!
Great Linford Waterside Festival We now have Facebook groups and MySpace pages! Click on Links to get those details! The site is currently as up-to-date as it can be! Organised and run entirely by volunteers, this not-for-profit festival is put together every year with the help and assistance of various local bodies and organisations. We try very hard to make sure the festival remains free for people to attend, although rising costs from suppliers and shrinking grant assistance means we have to find ways to sustain the festival. This year we are continuing with a nominal parking charge for using our manned car parks. On the Saturday and Sunday, there will be a charge of £2 per car per day - but admission to the event itself remains free. We apologise if this mars you enjoyment of the day in any way; if you have alternative methods for us to raise funds the please don't hesitate to contact the committee!
