Testimonials title

Hey, WE know we're great but sometimes people need convincing (especially if you've seen Steve doing karaoke).

Below are a few of the many testimonials we have paid for received...

TLC Creative devised, wrote, performed and recorded the audio scripts for two completely different animatronic shows which were an important part of our Christmas Display at thecentre:mk this year. The display has received national acclaim and it is important to us that every element of the show reaches the same high standards. TLC worked closely to the brief but added some real creative flair to produce scripts which worked exceptionally well for young and old alike. With completely original scripts they then performed and recorded these, with the assistance of Sound-Board Productions, and we were delighted with the exceptionally high production values. TLC have been both highly creative and very professional and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Puss in Boots had us in hysterics from the offset which is one of the criteria we use when choosing our pantos. We are now in our 31st season and have tried so many different scripts, in house, traditional and modern and have to say that yours is one of the most inspiring I have come across. Out of 10 definitely 10. We were so pleased with the direction, song suggestions and in particular the way the whole thing was pieced together. It flowed so well.
St Bernadette's Players

The evening went really well, and there's a possibility that 'Red Balloon' might go forward to the West Glamorgan Festival of One-Act Plays, which the Dylan Thomas theatre is hosting in Spring next year. I congratulate you on a wonderful play, and hope to be able to present another of your plays at a future date.
Brian Willis, Swansea Little Theatre

This script ('Babes in the Wood') proves that panto can succeed without smut! Great fun to rehearse with good comedy routines and excellent choice of songs - we will be using their scripts in the future.
Killin Drama Group

'Jack and the Beanstalk' proved to be a huge hit with audiences and cast members alike. For the audience there were all the traditional elements a panto should have; plenty of audience participation, baddies to boo, heroes to cheer, masses of really bad jokes and gags, flour and a very infectious song about a moo-cow! And for the cast it was great fun with parts of all sizes(!) and plenty for the chorus to do. A GIANT of a show!
Milton Keynes Amateur Operatic Society

Our production (of 'Jack and the Beanstalk') went down really well. We had full houses all through the run and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Of course it helped that we had a good script to start off with, which is down to you.
Royalty Theatre, Sunderland

Thank you for your help with our production 'Aladdin'. It appears to have been a great success... We look forward to your next script as we are certainly interested...
Behind You Productions, Henley on Thames

Thank you so much for 'Babes in the Wood'. We all had a great time and our audiences thoroughly enjoyed the performances.
Wensleydale Troupers

'Aladdin' was a great success... we sold out for all our 5 performances and everyone loved it!
Bisley Amateur Theatrical Society

'1001 Arabian Nights' went down well and appealed to a really wide ranging audience - from 6 year olds to 60 year olds!  One of the things we like about your scripts is that they are family friendly - a key factor for us in a school with 50 plus nationalities and a number of different belief systems. We really strive to keep them clean, as it were, and yet still appeal to elementary, middle and high school children and their parents! ... keep 'em coming!
International Community School, Ethiopia

One of the challenges I find directing this play ('A Time for Farewells'), aside from trying the find the truth and sensitivity in every line and character, is wanting to give up directing and act in it instead! Many thanks again!
El Camino College, California, USA

'Work in Progress' was a blast to work with! Damian Trasler did a wonderful job with this script.  It was witty and original.
PDCI, Canada

We thoroughly enjoyed performing ‘Babes in the Wood’, to our first sell out audience. It didn't take much to update the topical references for an Australian audience, and both adults and kids alike were in stitches laughing at the humour. We performed with an all youth cast, so it is still possible to bring out the comedy of a pantomime with teenagers. We are greatly looking forward to doing our next show, also by TLC.
BATS, Australia

And we don't just write...

TLC are highly original, exceptionally funny and very versatile performers. They were employed by thecentre:mk to perform in the Opening Procession of our Christmas Display, to support the acclaimed author of the Peter Pan sequel Geraldine McCaughrean during a book signing and as stand alone performers for crowds visiting our Christmas Display. On each occasion they produced an original and engaging performance and were exceptionally well received by the public. We would certainly use them in the future and would not hesitate to recommend them.
